    Начну с того, что со здоровьем проблемы были с самого детсва. В детстве болела постоянно бронхитамии ангинами, выпила кучу антибиотиков ( в то время методы лечения были веселенькими wacko ). К своим годам (то есть к 30-ти) явно мешало жить:
    1. проблемная кожа, мешки под глазами и явно несвежий цвет лица;
    2. постоянная усталость, днем сонливость, утром не встать, спасалась кофем.
    3. постоянный комок слизи в носоглотке, как при простуде. Врачи разводили руками, то ли тонзиллит, то ли аллергия и прочее, но помочь не могли, предлагали даже ломать в носу перегородку, типа кривая наверное. Из-за этой проблемы, при обострении мучилась храпом по ночам, в детстве даже задыхалась cry ;
    4. Под одним зубом было воспаление и он был под снос как говориться, врач обещал скорое обострение и тогда рвать! Очень не хотелось мне этого....

    Ну вот, вкратце smile
    Пошла на диагностику, думаю, покупать ничего не буду, просто проверюсь. Оказалось, из-за воспаления в бронхах уже плохо работают легкие, из-за скопления слизи в бронхах кислород плохо поступает в организм, к мозгу - хроническое кислородное голодание. В связи с этим, диагностика показала - кальций не усваивается ( у меня на самом деле зубы очень плохие), железо не усваивается и вообще в связи с этой кислородной недостаточностью в организме нарушена работа органов и систем. Ну печень конечно почистить нужно и кишечник, песок в желчном пузыре, ну там еще помелочам....Хочу сказать, что внутри у меня ничего никогда не болело, не кололо, я думала здорова, поэтому все это меня мягко говоря расстроило.
    Когда вышла, мне хотелось уже начать что-то сразу делать, помочь себе...К официальной медицине у меня отношение не очень...за все мои 30 лет мучения с носом и горлом ни кто даже диагноз поставить не смог, а тем более помочь, а антибиотики пить совсем не хотелось. При прохождении диагностики врач сразу назначает программу лечения, подбирает с помощью прибора и на основе знаний о препаратах. Купила. Сейчас уже 1,5 месяца как пью. Результаты есть и вот какие :
    1. Цвет лица стал замечательный, хотя кожа уще не идеальная, но приятно смотреть на себя. Как будто лет 5 скинула. Пропали синяки под глазами.. У моей сестры тоже самое (она тоже начала принимать). У нее были на руках, такие сухие пятнымки кожи как грибок...врачи тоже только мази гормональные прописывали и вот через несколько дней приема руки у нее стали гладкие, как будто и не было ничего! Кожа тоже значительно лучше стала ( она тоже с этим делом мучалась).
    2. В горле почти полностью пропал этот злосчастный комок, который мешал мне дышать! Утром встаю бодрая, сплю идеально. Весь день бодрая, спать больше не хочется. Кофем балуюсь иногда по привычке и из-за вкуса.
    3. Что очень удивительно - пропал запах пота. Раньше я всегда пользовалась дезиком шариковым, особенно если интенсивный день предстоит, знаешь что можешь вспотеть. Теперь уже неделю, как это мне не надо, даже поверить в это не могу, все же мажусь иногда, если в город куда еду biggrin Пот выделяется, но запаха неприятного нет.
    4. Менструации проходят теперь совершенно безболезненно. У меня всегда первый день болел живот, голова, грудь уже за неделю, таблетка ибуметина,а то и две, меня выручали. Тут заметила, что-то странное, никаких болей! Даже пропустить можно smile Немного тянет конечно, но никаких таблеток не пью. Уже два раза все прошло без таблеток.
    5. Что меня еще очень радует, зуб затих, как-будто нет больше воспаления. Пойду на след неделе к врачу дырочку делать, сделаю рентген что-бы точно убедиться.
    6. Ну желудок, конечно, как часы. Все легко, быстро, и как надо. Никаких вздутий, изжог,газов, болей, запоров...ну и до этого вроде как все ничего было, ну теперь особая легкость какая-то появилась.
    Вот, это 1,5 месяца. Видимые результаты так сказать. После 15 числа иду на контроль, посмотрю что в целом в организме произошло, какие изменения.
    Папа мой тоже уже 2 месяца принимает. У него было очень плохо со здоровьем, мы все очень волновались за него. Давление, желудок, спина ...хоть в больницу ложись. Сейчас здавал анализы в поликлинике, семейный врач сказала - анализы идеальные! Ну посмотрим что дальше будет, ему через месяц на контроль.
    А бабушку мою отвели, она вся больная такая из себя, все время то от давления таблетки пьет , то еще что-то. Проверили, а она здорова! Ну сердечко слобовато, сосудики там, ну там что-то еще такое несущественное, а ей то 83 года! Врач говорит моей маме - вот берите пример, какое здоровье надо иметь в 83 года smile smile Дай Бог, чтобы так и соталось подольше!

    После диагностики врач назначает курс лично вам. Мне обошлось в течении трех месяцев латов в 150.00. Маме моей только чай прописали - это 7 лат. Так что зависит полностью от состояния вашего здоровья и продолжительности курса.

    Я вообщем -то не уговариваю. Просто у кого есть проблемы со здоровьем и традиционная медицина не помогает, то советую попробовать. Тем более, что под наблюдением врача все происходит. Сейчас диагностику проводят 3 врача, у каждого своя методика. Можно выбраль любую и даже потом сравнить для интереса. Мне где-то в августе идти, пойду к другой врачихе, интересно как у нее. Я себе здоровье поправила существенно, осталось немного наладить состояние сосудов. Вот в августе на проверку. Чувствую себя отлично, даже уже и не помню как раньше было biggrin

    п»їNow and then a patient will come in with complaints of a nerve-wracking, constant ringing or other sounds in their ears. One patient even thought he had gotten an insect in his ear that was buzzing and causing him a lot of anxiety. No, nothing like that! That buzzing sound he was hearing is called tinnitus (pronounced tin-ah-tus) and affects more than 12 million Americans a year. To prevent and treat it, I’d like to tell you more about the origins of tinnitus.
    Tinnitus – A Nerve Problem
    Many people think that tinnitus is a hearing issue. It’s confusing as it causes hearing changes and is often brought on by very loud noise exposure. Actually, tinnitus has its origins in the nervous system, particularly the tiny nerve cells in and around your ear canal. It’s a result of impaired nerve signals in the ear that the brain misinterprets as buzzing, ringing, or whooshing noises. When you hear sound, it’s a result of tiny, very fine hairs inside your ear moving in relation to sound waves conducted by air through the ear canal. These little hairs move in relation to the pressure that these sound waves make.
    This pressure then signals the auditory nerve to release a signal to your brain which then interprets this pressure as sound. This is how we perceive everything we hear – voices, music, birds singing, honking car horns, etc. In the case of tinnitus, however, these tiny hairs inside the ear canal have gotten bent, or broken, and they start leaking random electrical impulses to the brain. These random impulses most often get interpreted by the brain as buzzing and ringing sounds, or sometimes very high pitched tones.
    Though tinnitus can affect anyone at any age for many reasons, it occurs most often in over-age- 60 white males, and is often associated with post-traumatic stress disorder, especially where loud noises like firearms were involved. In fact, tinnitus is the #1 complaint of soldiers returning from military service at battle fronts. Other factors associated with tinnitus can include problems with sleeping, concentration, memory, depression and anxiety. However, I believe most of these other factors are likely related to the insomnia that often results from tinnitus.
    What Causes Tinnitus?
    There are many things which can damage the delicate nerve cells in the ear canal and result in tinnitus. They can include the following:
    Age-related hearing loss (presbycusis). This can happen in people starting around age 60. I feel that this cause is primarily related to nutritional deficiencies in B12 and minerals like zinc and magnesium.
    Loud noise exposure: Exposure to loud noises through occupation such as airplane technical ground crews, construction workers, landscaping crews, musicians or recreation (concerts, loud headphones) can cause or aggravate tinnitus.
    Blocked ear canals: Earwax buildup deep in the ear canal can shift around and cause different sounds. Inflammation, itching and swelling can also result in sound distortion.
    Otosclerosis: Hardening of the bones of the ear. This causes abnormal bone growths inside the ear canal and affects the way air/sound is conducted through the canal.
    Trauma: Getting hit in the ear, or side of the head, or closed/open head injuries can cause nerve damage and compression of tiny vascular structures resulting in tinnitus.
    Meniere’s, Lyme disease, fibromyalgia, allergies: Inflammation inside the ear canal.
    Stress/depression: Antidepressant medications can aggravate tinnitus.
    TMJ: Jaw bone joint disorders may irritate the nerves around the ears.
    Diabetes, thyroid: Nutritional imbalances from these conditions can aggravate tinnitus.
    Acoustic nerve tumors: (Vestibular schwannomas) Tumors that form around the inner ear can affect hearing and balance. Tinnitus from tumors can be a high pitched sound.
    Medications: Antibiotics, cancer drugs, antidepressants, diabetic drugs (see sidebar article), diuretics, quinine, aspirin usage for prolonged periods, or in high doses, can result in tinnitus, or hearing loss. Tinnitus often stops when offending drugs are stopped.
    What Can You Do About Tinnitus?
    Tinnitus is usually diagnosed at your doctor’s office with a series of questions, hearing and jaw movement tests, and perhaps imaging tests like a CT or MRI to rule out any tumors. However, I also recommend checking B12 levels as well. Research out of Israel’s Institute of Noise Hazards had shown that vitamin B12 deficiencies were present in 47% of study participants with tinnitus. B12 deficiencies are also common in people over age 50 as the ability to absorb it lessens with age. In fact, supplementing with B12 may be enough to reverse some deficiency-related tinnitus. Other treatments might include:
    Retraining therapy: Learn ways to cope with the disorder. Includes transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) to reduce tinnitus loudness over time.
    Anti-inflammatories: Omega-3 fish oils, quercetin, Vitamin D3, magnesium. A short course of ibuprofen may also help. Gingko biloba helps increase blood circulation to nourish ear nerve cells.
    Surgery. Bone growths or acoustic neuromas may need to be surgically removed. Low level laser therapy (LLLT) can stimulate ear nerve cells to heal themselves.
    Although tinnitus is a frustrating condition that can create anxiety and distress, determining it’s cause often results in effective treatment of it. See your doctor if ear noises are a concern for you. In Part II, I’ll tell you about new treatments for hearing loss and how you can prevent it.

    Tip #1) Relax Your Javelin Throwing Arm: Do the same thing top sprinters do when they’re trying to go faster at the end of the 100-meter dash. Sprinters relax so that they can move faster. You can do the same thing with your throwing arm, which will allow it to move faster. You don’t have to take all the tension out of it, just keep it loose cause loose is fast! This could add an extra ½ meter to 1.5 meters to your javelin throw literally overnight!
    Tip #2) Focus on Your Standstill Javelin Throwing Ability First: The amount of distance you can generate from a standstill javelin throw is extremely important. Focus on improving the distance you can throw from a standstill position and you’ll start adding distance to your javelin throw. Apply every tip you in this document that you can to your standstill throw and practice it every single practice for at least 10-15 minutes after you’ve warmed up.
    Tip #3) Watch the Weights: Try to avoid excessive “bulk building style” weight training. Too much bulking up can cause you to add excess, slow muscle that won’t move quickly when you apply it to your javelin throwing. Remember that javelin is a velocity-based sport and not a force-based sport such as shot put. In other words, it’s much more important that your arm can move quickly versus how much weight it can move.     Tip #4) Don’t Ever Lean Back: I know this sounds wrong but you never need to lean back during a javelin throw. Javelin throwers drive their hips and lower body forward, which gives the illusion that they’re leaning back. Some beginner javelin throwers can mistake the driving forward motion as a leaning back motion. Make sure you’re simply trying to create forward motion and try to keep your body basically upright while you deliver a javelin throw and you’ll add distance instead of just airtime.
    Tip #5) Engage Your Core: I’ve said it a 100 times and I’ll say it again because it’s just that important: Engage your core! Draw your stomach in so that your deep abdominal muscles are firing during your javelin throw. This will guarantee that you get all the power you can from your core which can add major distance in a very short period of time to your javelin throw, not to mention protect your spine during the javelin throwing motion.

    п»їIf you have ever suffered from a pinched nerve you know how painful it can be. Chances are you experienced numbness or decreased sensation in the area supplied by the nerve or a tingling, “pins and needles” feeling. Some of my patients tell me they feel a sharp or burning pain which is aggravated by coughing or sneezing. Sometimes they may feel twitching in the affected area or like their foot or hand has “fallen asleep.”
    I have to tell you that I sympathize with how my patients are feeling and congratulate them for seeing a doctor. So often people wait too long before seeing a specialist and suffer in silence before treatment relieves their symptoms. You should see your doctor if the signs of a pinched nerve last for several days and you do not respond to self-care measures. Before I go into detail regarding treatment and self-care remedies, let me elaborate on the definition of a pinched nerve.
    Simply stated a pinched nerve is caused when a nerve is damaged or injured resulting from compression, constriction, or stretching. As a result the nerve is unable to properly conduct its signal which creates the symptoms described above. According to the most recent statistics, at some time, up to 40% of people experience pain, known as sciatica, which is the nerve most likely to be affected in low back pain.
    What Do Nerves Have to Do With It?
    Nerves are critical pathways that carry information from the brain to the extremities and are distributed throughout the entire body. There are two types of nerves, motor and sensory. Motor nerves carry information from the brain to the organs, muscles, and heart. Sensory nerves send information from the body back to the brain for processing, including pain, touch, taste, temperature and other sensations.
    When a nerve is pinched, the signal is somehow interrupted along the way and is therefore unable to transmit. There are areas of the body that are more susceptible to nerve compression such as in the neck or lower back caused by a herniated disc, arthritis, bone spurs, or spinal stenoisis (narrowing of the spinal canal).
    There are many causes of nerve pressure; injury, poor posture, osteoarthritis, sports activities, and obesity. These conditions may cause the tissue to compress resulting in inflammation. There is usually no permanent damage if the nerve is pinched for a short period of time but if the pressure continues there may be chronic pain and permanent damage.
    What Can I Expect From My Doctor?
    If you think you might have a pinched nerve, don’t hesitate to consult your doctor. He will begin by asking questions about your pain, numbness, tingling, weakness, or any other symptoms. Your medical conditions, family medical history, and other work related questions will be helpful in determining the best treatment for your specific condition.
    The part of your body involved will be examined, including testing your strength, sensation, and muscle tone in certain muscles. If your doctor suspects a pinched nerve in the neck or lower back, X-rays may be needed to determine the extent of the injury. You may also need a CT scan or an MRI scan. These imaging studies provide information that cannot be seen on regular X-rays, and may be necessary to present a clear picture of your condition.
    There are other tests that are helpful in determining the extent of nerve compression: a nerve conduction study or an electromyography (EMG). Both help to identify the electrical activity and speed of the impulse traveling in the nerve.
    Will the Pain Ever Go Away?
    You are probably asking the same question most of my patients ask…”Will the pain ever go away?” In most cases, patients with a pinched nerve are able to recover completely without any long lasting symptoms providing they follow a treatment that includes rest, modified activity, ice, physical therapy, and medications.
    Listed below are some of the ways in which a pinched nerve can be treated depending on the location:
    • Support Braces
    There are times that I recommend a brace for a short period of time because it limits the amount of movement around the nerve allowing it to rest and recover. The brace also prevents my patients from moving the affected nerve which could further complicate the condition. For instance, a brace is used for carpal tunnel syndrome because when the wrist bends down, the median nerve in the wrist is further pinched.
    • Medication
    Over the counter medications are often helpful in relieving the pain of a pinched nerve such as anti-inflammatory medications. For instance ibuprofen that can reduce swelling around the affected nerve.
    • Physical therapy
    By stretching and strengthening specific muscles in the body, pressure on pinched nerves is relieved.
    •Self Care Measures
    Alternating hot and cold packs to the affected area 2-3 times a day will help speed up the progress of regular massage and physical therapy. Stretching several times a day is important so make sure you follow the instructions given to you by your physical therapist.
    • Natural Remedies
    As mentioned earlier, anti-inflammatory medications are helpful in treating pinched nerves. There are herbal anti-inflammatories like turmeric, ginger, bromelain, and rosemary that have been known to help decrease pain. A combination of these should be taken 3-4 times a day for pain, or 1-2 for maintenance. Flax oil or fish oil supplements are also a good source of anti-inflammatory ingredients. Calcium and magnesium are important to muscle contraction and relaxation, and can help decrease tightness.
    Certain foods provide anti-inflammatory benefits so if you are suffering from nerve pressure you might want to adjust your diet as well. Be sure to eat fruits, vegetables, whole grains, beans, moderate in fish, dairy, and good fats like olive or flax oil. Meat, sugar, white flour products, processed foods, and fried foods should be kept to a minimum.
    Pinched nerves are common ailments and can occur anywhere in your body. Living with the pain and numbness of a pinched nerve is no fun. Fortunately with proper care and conservative treatments, most people recover from the condition within a few days or weeks.

    п»їI am always taken aback at the number and persistence of gout myths. Just read a few Internet web pages on gout and gout treatments and it won’t take you long to find contradicting information - even from supposedly reputable sites. These myths are one of the key reasons why the quality of gout care for gout has fallen so much over the past few decades. Bad information keeps getting passed on - over and over. This article will help you understand some of these myths and learn the truth.
    Myth #1: Gout is curable. There are tons of websites out there that promise “gout cures” if only you send them some amount of money. The truth is, that for 90% of cases, gout is a genetic condition. This is why gout often runs in families. Genetic conditions cannot be cured, only managed. The other 10 % of cases are called secondary gout. These are usually caused by some underlying medical condition. Some of these conditions can be very serious such as lymphoma or kidney disease. Only a small number of cases are truly ‘curable’. These cases are usually caused by high blood pressure medications called diuretics or extreme obesity. If you have gout, your doctor should check for a secondary cause of gout, if none is found, then you have a genetic condition that can only be managed.
    Myth #2: “Natural” or “Herbal” treatments are better than all those scary gout drugs. Colchicine, a drug commonly used to treat gout is made from the bulb of the autumn crocus flower (scientific name: Colchicum autumnale) and is a “natural” treatment that has been used for over 2000 years. Despite this, Colchicine is a highly toxic substance that causes nausea, vomiting and/or diarrhea in 100% of people that take it at a high dose. Fact is, that more than half of the modern pharmacopeia are “natural” substances but may not be healthy to take, however, they do have the benefit of having their safety and use closely monitored by the FDA. Natural treatments can also make things worse if you are not careful. For example, vitamin C has been shown to lower uric acid levels and reduce gout attacks but they can also increase the risk of kidney stones and if you start then suddenly, it can actually cause more attacks. The truth is that many of the prescription drugs used to treat gout can be dangerous, but if taken properly, they can be very safe and are highly effective. Most gout attacks can be stopped in minutes or hours, not days or weeks. And if you properly manage gout’s underlying cause, hyperuricemia, there is no need to suffer from gout attacks at all.
    Myth #3: Gout medications will make your attacks stop right away. Actually, uric acid lowering medications can increase gout attacks in the short run but eventually, over the course of 6-12 months, they will usually stops them completely. Most people experience more attacks when they first start taking these medications, then stop taking them, figuring that they are not working. This is because we know that sudden changes in uric acid levels, even drops in uric acid levels, can trigger attacks. Most doctors do not prescribe uric acid lowering medications at the right doses and do not also prescribe prophylaxis medications to prevent these attacks. If you are starting to take uric acid lowering medications, make sure you are starting at a very low dose and increase slowly over a period of several weeks to full strength - never start or stop them suddenly. Also make sure your doctor has given you medications to prevent attacks during the first 6-12 months of treatment.
    Myth #4: If you stay way from seafood and beer your gout will go away. Of all the gout myths, myths about diet are the most presistant. But like all good myths, there is some truth it. Seafood and beer have both been shown to be powerful foods to cause a sudden increase in uric acid, which can trigger an attack but in most cases staying away from these foods or eating a strict “low purine diet” will only reduce the number of attacks you have, not eliminate them completely. 90% of gout cases are genetic and diet cannot overpower genetics.
    Myth #5: If you have gout, you should stay away from all alcohol. Again, like with all good myths, there is some truth here. Beer has been shown to be very bad for gout. People with gout should not drink beer at all - this advice doesn’t make me very popular, but it is true. Spirits such as vodka and whiskey also raise the risk of gout but only about half as much as beer. Red wine on the other hand, can slightly decrease your risk of gout if you drink no more than one glass per day. With two glasses, the risk is about the same as for those that do not drink at all. So the key here is if you want a drink, stick to red wine and limit yourself to, at most, two glasses.
    Myth #6: Other then the pain of gout attacks, gout really doesn’t cause any other problems. This one is dead wrong, and I mean dead. Improperly treated gout can be a crippling disease. Regular gout attacks can damage and even destroy joints, and tophus (large growths of uric acid crystals in the body) can disfigure hands, feet and form in other parts of the body, including the heart (this is where the ‘dead’ comes in). Also, the underlying cause of gout, hyperuricemia, have been shown to be strongly associated with heart disease, high blood pressure, kidney disease, liver disease, diabetes, stroke and obesity. All of which are very deadly. Gout can and does kill!
    Myth #7: I am overweight but that doesn’t have anything to do with my gout. Absolutely wrong! Excess body weight is strongly connected with hyperuricemia and gout. Probably the best thing you can do for your gout as well as your health is to loose weight and keep it off! Of course, no one wants to hear that, but if you have gout and are significantly overweight, you are all but guaranteed to get one of the deadly diseases I mentioned in the previous myth. Loosing weight and exercising regularly are the best ways to avoid these diseases.
    Myth#8: Once an attack starts, there is nothing you can do by wait it out. Actually, if you act quickly, you can stop an attack an hour or so. How? Take some of the powerful non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) your doctor has given you at the very first sign of symptoms (see gout basics). If you have medical reasons why your can’t take NSAIDs, don’t worry, there are many other options including corticosteroids, ACTH and others. However, you should avoid colchicine in you can.
    Myth #9: Food high in proteins are bad for gout. Food high in proteins actually lower uric acid levels and is good for gout. What matters is where the proteins come from. Meat proteins have been shown to raise uric acid levels while vegetable proteins have been shown to lower uric acid levels - even those that are high in purines.
    Myth #10: Medical science knows little about gout. Actually, of all the thousands of diseases out there, gout is one of the best understood diseases. Doctors and scientists know exactly what causes the disease and how it progresses. What has happened over the years is that science has become bored with gout and little research has occurred since the 1970’s and 80’s. Doctors have collectively “forgotten” how to properly manage the disease correctly. Recently one research study showed that as many as 78% of doctors are managing gout improperly. Lately however, there has been a resurgence of interest, new medications are being developed and new research is being conducted to fill in the holes that remain.
