Я хочу поделиться своим опытом. Сколько бы раньше не "пробовала" худеть, но при росте в 165 сантиметров я весила 83 килограмма. Пышкой была. Меня это напрягало. Хотя мужским вниманием не была обделена. Может это из-за моего характера, а может еще из-за чего. Но меня мной внешний вид категорически не устраивал. И вот я начала бороздить просторы интернета.Куча сайтов с кучей диет. Глаза разбегались и я не знала с чего начать. Спрашивала на разных форумах, что лучше для того чтобы похудеть. И конечно же не обошлось без того, что часть форумчан меня "тролили". Фразочками вроде таких: ну ты и толстуха, сиди дома и никуда не выходи, меньше жрать надо, и тому подобных...Меня это задевало, но все же старалась не обращать на них внимания. Так же мне посоветовали поискать конструкторы диет. Как там говорят, диету составляют индивидуальную. ОТветь на вопросы и получи результат. Я скептически к этому отнеслась и пропустила. Искала дальше, но так для себя ничего и не нашла.
Решила я начать пробежки по утрам. Это было выматывающе. И после нескольких таких пробежек я сдалась(((. Вес конечно же не скинула. И вновь полезла в интернет на диет форумы и сайты по диетам. Ясно было одно, ешь меньше и занимайся спортом и тогда похудеешь.
И я вернулась к конструктору диет. Зашла на сайт и мне предложили ряд вопросов (порядка 10). Вопросы такого характера: Сколько хотите сбросить? Ваш пол (М/Ж)? Ваш вес? и прочие...И вот я прохожу этот тест и получаю результат. Удивительно быстро. Может там схема какая у них есть. Под определенные параметры выдавать определенню методику. Скороей всего так и есть, ведь это же конструктор диет, а не диетолог там сидит и составляет.
Вот я получила свою методику для похудения. НАстроилась решительно, ведь если без настроя то ничего не поможет. НАчала питаться по схема и делать физические упражнения. Уставала, хотелось бросить, но продолжала. И вот через месяц, встала на весы, хотела раньше но было страшно, хотя и замечала что вроде немного я уменьшилась в объемах. Результат был для меня волшебным, почти 10кг! И это за месяц! Кто то может сказать что этого мало за месяц, но я очень довольна!
Главное в этом деле держаться и особенно хорошо это делать не одному. Я смогла и вы сможете! Не ленитесь и все получиться.

In every sphere of life there will be moments where our conviction to stand confidently in our brilliance and stay true to our heart will be tested. If we’re not careful, the Gremlin I call “The Pushover” can show up to derail you.

Key #1 – Breathe
Dealing with failure or rejection feels like a threat to our safety at some level. So our good old “flight or fight” response gets triggered. With all that adrenalin rushing through our body it’s hard to think clearly about anything!
Taking some deep belly breaths for even just a minute will help short-circuit your reactivity that comes when our reptilian brain gets triggered. Deep breathing allows you to access your prefrontal cortex that governs your decision-making capabilities.
Key #2 – Regroup
The Chinese have a proverb – “Fall down seven times, get up eight.” When things don’t go as you’d planned, the ability to pick yourself up and keep on going is key.
Rather than see failure or disappointment as a sign from the Universe to stop altogether, view it as an opportunity to gather the additional wisdom and resilience you need to move more powerfully into lasting success. Choose to regroup, rather than stay stuck and gripe.
Key #3 – Pan Back and Get the Big Picture
You worked so hard, had such great intentions and yet you still got rejected. Sometimes the sting of failure feels so personal because the Pushover tends to lose sight of the big picture.

п»їThe main fitness goal I hear from my clients is “fat loss”. Reducing body fat and looking leaner is a common goal for both serious athletes and the general fitness enthusiast. Because of this, fat loss has become a huge industry in North America, with new fad diets, weight loss plans, abdominal toning products, and fat burning supplements popping up on the market every day!
Unfortunately, despite all of the interest, attention, investment, and energy directed at this subject, obesity is still on the rise. In fact, if you are a lean, fit and healthy individual in the U.S. you are a minority!
Because weight loss is such big business some marketers are willing to tell you anything to sell you their product or service. On top of that, there is so much information out there on this subject (much of it conflicting), that it’s hard to know what to believe or where to start. The purpose of this article is to outline some basic and effective principles for attaining permanent “fat loss” and a transformation of your physical appearance.
To get lean and stay that way, you need to identify and correct the causes of excess body fat, including:
•Excessive calorie intake
•Unhealthy lifestyle habits
Most of you understand how important exercise and smart eating habits are in order to maintain healthy body weight, but we are inundated with so many different diet and exercise programs and there are so many weight loss myths floating around that it becomes difficult to know what to believe.
Let me assure you that proper nutrition and exercise (along with certain lifestyle changes) are STILL the solution to losing fat permanently and reclaiming your physique. The following three basic tips will help you achieve your “Fat Loss” goals.
Tip #1: Reduce calories but don't starve yourself!
The primary consideration for reducing body fat and losing weight is to consume fewer calories than you are using. This is called a caloric deficit. However, cutting too many calories, particularly protein calories, pushes the body to conserve calories rather than burn them. It may also force your body to break down muscle tissue to fuel its vital operations. But muscle tissue is the key to your metabolism (the speed at which you burn calories). More muscle means a faster metabolism and less body fat.
When you go on an extremely low calorie diet (including most liquid diets) for an extended period, your body goes into a sort of “starvation mode”. This leads to several negative consequences, including fewer fat-burning enzymes in your body, lower levels of fat burning hormones, muscle wasting, greater appetite, and low energy. The bottom line is that it’s very difficult to achieve permanent fat loss on a “starvation” type diet.
In the short term very low calorie programs may get you some results, but in the long run they can actually make you fatter. You will almost certainly regain additional body fat once your diet ends! Alternatively, you can lose body fat and keep it off by only reducing your calories slightly – about 15% to 20% below maintenance.
That being said, don’t believe the diet books that claim “calories don’t count” or say you “can eat as much as you want and still lose weight.” You still need to control your portion size and learn to balance your calories in versus calories out. A good start is to simply cut out pop, sugary snacks, and junk food. Make sure to adjust your calorie intake based on your activity level, age, and gender as well. Don’t trust a diet plan that recommends the same calories for everyone. Needs will vary depending on height, weight, gender, activity level, resting metabolism, etc.
Tip #2: Metabolize More Fat by Exercising
This ties in nicely with the first principle. The key to long term fat loss is to focus on burning the fat, not just starving the fat. To metabolize more body fat while reducing calories slightly below maintenance, you will need to burn more calories by increasing your activity level and elevating your resting metabolism.
Your physical activity plan for fat loss should focus primarily on resistance training with weights. This may be different from what you had previously assumed, as many people still believe that cardiovascular exercise is the best way to shed unwanted pounds.
Some of you reading this might be saying “I don’t want to gain any muscle; I just need to lose fat”, as if the two goals were mutually exclusive.
Although you will burn fat as a fuel source during low intensity cardiovascular exercise, resistance training (high intensity strength training exercise) will not only metabolize body fat during your workout, but it will stimulate your body to continue eating up your fat stores after exercise as well.
This is sometimes referred to as the after-burn effect. This effect is caused by raising your basal metabolic rate: essentially, weight training boosts your metabolism! If your goal is permanent fat loss, then the key is to raise your metabolism so you are “burning” more calories and fat even while you rest.
Muscle Equals Metabolism
The more lean tissue you have on your body, and the more active your muscle tissue becomes, the higher your metabolism is. This is because muscles consume energy all day long in order to maintain themselves. Therefore, you need lean muscle tissue in order to burn fat. This is why I say it’s a mistake to focus only on losing weight, rather than reducing body fat.
Muscle weighs much more than fat, but because it is also much denser it takes up less space on your body. Given two people of the same size, a lean, toned physique will actually weigh more than a soft, flabby body.
So think about “reshaping” your body, rather than shrinking it. Be more concerned with the way you look in the mirror and your waist size rather than with your total body weight on the scale. Body weight measurement does not distinguish between the amount of fat and muscle that you have. Stop obsessing about your weight. Get off the scale and starting using a tape measure and looking at how your clothes fit.
First of all, let’s look at a great way to incorporate resistance (strength) training in your exercise routine. Circuit training involves a single set of each exercise one after another, with minimal rest between sets. An effective way to increase your metabolism in a circuit training workout is to perform a series of exercises alternating between lower body, upper body, and core movements. This can be accomplished using minimal equipment, or by performing bodyweight exercises such as squats, lunges, pushups, dips, and abdominal exercise variations.
The key is to use compound exercises involving several muscle groups working together in big pushing and pulling movements. These movements will stimulate more muscle tissue and use more calories. Your entire workout should take less than 40 minutes and be performed 3 times per week, on alternate days. Cardiovascular exercise still has a role in a complete exercise routine, but excess cardio may actually cause wasting of muscle tissue! I will describe an effective way to incorporate cardiovascular endurance training in your program.
Interval training involves alternating periods of low intensity cardiovascular activity with higher intensity sprint intervals. This not only burns more calories in a shorter amount of time, but it will help to stimulate and preserve your hard-earned lean muscle tissue. An example of an interval training workout could be alternating periods of jogging for 2 minutes and running hard for 30 seconds, repeating these intervals for a 20 minute workout.
It may be favorable to perform cardiovascular exercise early in the day for a greater fat burning effect, and preferably on a relatively empty stomach (or drink a cup of green tea before). This will get your metabolism started early and energize you for the rest of the day. Also, if you exercise before breakfast your body will tend to metabolize more body fat as a fuel source, because you have less glycogen (carbohydrates) available to burn for energy.
It doesn’t need to be a long workout; 20 minutes of intense aerobic activity is adequate. A "good-morning" routine is a good habit, however, the most important thing is to get the exercise done whenever it works best for you! Again, try to do three interval training workouts each week.
There are many other reasons why the combination of exercise and ‘smart’ nutrition is superior to “dieting” alone for losing body fat, including the numerous health benefits of regular physical activity. Exercise needs to be a solid part of your plan to get true results; don’t buy into the quick-fix solutions.
Tip #3: Avoid “Quick-Fix” Solutions
Another way people sabotage their own fat loss results is by searching for quick fixes or instant solutions to problems that have taken months or years to develop. It’s healthy to search for a more efficient way to reach your goal, but I’m talking about those who try to achieve their goal without investing any real effort on their part, and without consideration of what is healthy, safe, or lasting.
These people want “something for nothing”, expect results without changing their lifestyle, and want better health while drinking, smoking, and eating anything they like. They are more likely to fall prey to the latest fad diets, miracle pills, magic weight loss schemes, and exercise gimmicks. Conversely, reaching your goals through discipline, determination, and hard work makes you a stronger, better person in every way.
There are other problems with trying to lose weight too quickly. You need to be careful not to lose muscle as well as fat. This can cause issues with your metabolism and result in you putting the weight back on, plus some! The real objective is not just losing the fat; it’s keeping the fat off. This is one of many reasons why it is so important to include resistance training in your program.
Gradual weight loss is much healthier and more likely to be permanent. About two pounds per week is a good goal to set. Unless you are extremely over-weight, if you are losing more than this it is likely that some of the weight lost is from lean tissue, intestinal bulk, and loss of water.
Don’t be fooled by the initial water weight loss that occurs during many “lose weight fast” diets. Water loss is not fat loss. Don’t use the scale as your only reference; body composition testing (skinfold calipers, bio-impedence, or hydrostatic testing) and girth measurements are better ways to evaluate whether your weight loss is due to FAT loss.
Lack of patience will hold you back from losing body fat and keeping it off. Ignore the rapid weight loss TV shows, media stories, and infomercials… the long term consequences are NOT worth it.

|п»їEvery single culture on the planet has it's myths and, whether it be "Big Foot", or "The Lochness Monster", bodybuilding has it's fair share of myths too. Like a lot of myths most of them have some truth to them and some are have no truth to them whatsoever. Bodybuilders and fitness experts the world over have been trying to get rid of these myths but have failed. I may fail too, but I am going to give it one hell of a go. It's time to stop these myths once and for all! |
A lot of myths about bodybuilding start within the bodybuilding community, but there are the odd few that start outside by the general public or medical industry. The myths I am going to touch on here are in no particular order. Let's start with a well known classic first of all:
Bogus Myth #1. "When you stop working out your muscles will turn to fat"
This myth is mainly used as an excuse as to why people don't start a weight training program and are resenting those that have. My Auntie used to say this to me a lot when I started going to the gym at 16. There is no proven physiological mechanism by which muscles amazingly turn to fat when a person stops working out! What happens, however, when a person stops training, their muscle mass will decrease due to the lack of stimulation. People who do not exercise and eat too many calories get fat, it's not ground breaking stuff. So what you have here is often a lack of muscle mass coupled with an increase in fat due to an intake of excess calories and complete lack of exercise. The next time you look at someone who used to be nice and ripped but are now fat, it's not because there muscles converted to fat. They are fat because of the reason so many others are fat; too many calories and not enough exercise.
What if it was true? Is the fear of this crazy idea that your muscles convert to fat a reason not to start a bodybuilding program? If you stop washing you get dirty, but that's not a legitimate reason to never start washing in the first place is it! I have gained and lost a lot of muscle in the past, and I have known and worked with a lot of people who have gained and lost weight, and I have yet to see and truth behind the myth of muscles converting to fat. Let this be the end of this myth and let's here nothing else about it.
Bogus Myth#2. "Bodybuilders are not strong"
This myth comes from people who haven't even stepped foot in a gym. Strength in people varies greatly, some bodybuilders can lift upto 800lb squats and 500lb bench presses. Some weights I have seen being lifted have to be seen to be believed. Not all bodybuilders are this strong, but any bodybuilder who is serious about lifting is considerably stronger than the average person, it's not earth shattering news that the more muscle mass you have the heavier you can lift. Some bodybuilders who I know enter both in weight lifting competitions and bodybuilding competitions and do really well in both of them. Don't get me wrong some bodybuilders are not as strong as they look, but some are much stronger than they look, some are unbelievably strong.
Bogus Myth #3. "Pro's eat strict diets all year round"
This myth comes from the bodybuilding magazines and publications who want readers to think that these guys eat low fat healthy clean food all year round. This leads to many beginners trying to get all the calories they need from chicken, rice, veggies, etc. In fact getting the idealic 4000 calories from just clean foods alone is virtually impossible. This can be sometimes off putting and depressing for the newbies as they try and stuff themselves with healthy foods to make gains and they just can't seem to eat enough. For the truth of things: I have seen a lot of bodybuilders while off season who binge on fast foods and pizzas, no joke! This however should not be done for the average joe who is trying to build muscle and gain weight healthily. These pro guys are really strict when on season so they need a blowout when they're off season, who can blame them!
Obviously I can't speak for every bodybuilders off season diet because I don't know them all, some could have an absolutely spotless diet, but the majority I know don't. It is mainly an advertising myth mostly, as many bodybuilders say they carry much more body fat than they claim in these magazines. If you told these publications that they pulled into Burger King every other day they would not sell many issues. So you can see the advantage of how saying that these guys are clean all year round is to these big magazine companies.
Bogus Myth #4. "All Bodybuilders have small penises"
I bet you've heard this one before havn't you? Now, I havn't seen any bodybuilders' manly assets, but it's been my thought that they tend to be like every other man in that department. Some are small, some are normal, and some are big. One fact, however, is that a big guy with a normal sized member would look smaller than a skinny guys normal sized member. It's all in the proportions.
Bogus Myth# 5 "Bodybuilders are all full of themselves"
This one does have a bit of truth to it. Some bodybuilders can be full of themselves and can be the most narcissistic people you will ever meet. Some however can be very down to earth and humble people. Some cockiness and narcissism is sometimes par and parcel with the course of bodybuilding.
Bogus Myth #6. "Bodybuilders are all gay"
This one is another stupid myth and is often started by those people who are envious of the bodybuilders physique and the attention they get from the ladies. It is my experience that bodybuilders are as often gay as the general public is, I know more gay people who aren't bodybuilders than I know gay bodybuilders. This is a really stupid myth and it should be put to rest right here right now.
These are just some of the really crazy myths going round now that put people off trying to gain muscle, there are many more that are circulating around the general public and they will be covered by me in the future I'm sure.

In a recent article, John McCarthy, the Executive Director of IHRSA addressed the issue of Women-Only Clubs. IHRSA estimates that there are approximately 2,000 women-only fitness centers in the US serving approximately 2 million women. McCarthy sited research done for IHRSA by Dr. Christine Brooks, of the University of Michigan’s Fitness Research Center which indicated a variety of reasons large groups of women did not use coed facilities; especially for the huge segment of deconditioned women who are in the most need of regular exercise, but have the most anxiety about beginning.
We at Pro*Fit Enterprises could not agree more! We know that intimidation is perhaps the #1 reason why the overweight/deconditioned woman does not join a coed facility. A tagline should answer a few questions about your products and services before potential customers ever get a chance to ask. A slogan should be illustrative of why a customer should choose you and not your competition.
Brainstorming a slogan or tagline is something that should be done with the basic identity of your business growth strategy in mind. You should keep in mind the attitude you want your business to portray, whether its stodgy reliability, professional detachment, or wacky creativity.
Here are some tips for slogan development:
1) A slogan should be memorable without drawing too much attention to itself. It should be a strong statement that embodies the business, and one that people will recall when they see your logo or business name.
2) The content of a slogan should relate in some way to the nature of the business and the company name itself. In other words, if you are running a computer repair business, the slogan should mention something about computers, repair, or technical expertise.
3) You may want to be sure that each of the words you choose to use in the slogan has a positive connotation. Making people feel good about your brand is absolutely necessary, and negative connotations - even subtle or subconscious connotations - can detract from this.
4) Your slogan should reflect the attitude of your company. It should be funny or fun if that's what the company's image is.

6) The slogan should have marketability. That is, when you embark on an advertising campaign, you should be able to deploy it in print ads and other media.
7) Keep the slogan simple. A short, concise slogan will be far more memorable that will a long slogan. It's better to remain a little ambiguous with a short slogan than to clarify what you do and why your company is better with a long and rambling slogan that no one will remember.
8) Your slogan should be believable. A good example of this is a particular sandwich chain's slogan which is "The World's Greatest Gourmet Sandwiches." While legally this is acceptable because it's an opinion, it is such a broad and sweeping statement that it sets up the sandwiches for failure. In fact, most people would agree that the sandwiches are adequate, not spectacular - and so the slogan is revealed as a transparent marketing ploy that insults the reader.
Most of these corporate slogans are actually meaningless when you analyze them. Take, for instance, the all-too-common slogan "Where people make the difference." Well, you might say, yes. People make the difference. As opposed to intelligent machines or dolphins. Of course people make the difference. What people and what difference, however, is an area for speculation.
When designing your tagline or slogan, be sure to focus on the inferred meaning of the words and their meaning in context rather than individual definitions. Make sure that several people agree that it's effective before you deploy it for use in letterhead, stationary, or your website. Test your slogan on strangers, rather than friends and relatives – your friends will want to “spare your feelings” and won’t tell you that your slogan idea is lousy.
Your slogan is just one more aspect of what a potential customer or client may base their decision on when evaluating who to hire. You always want to put your best face forward and business growth and success will be soon to follow.

Karma gives you the opportunity at every moment to become open to greater levels of love and compassion. It operates impersonally: applying to everyone, all the time, no exceptions. It is very logical: what you sow is what you reap in exact and precise measure. Karma is as predictable as the laws of gravity: what is done to you is the net result of what you have done to others.
#5: KARMA IS PERFECTLY FAIR AND CREATES TOTAL JUSTICE
Every apparently "unjust" situation is perfectly just in the context of reincarnation. For example, there are no "innocent" people in prison today, they are there for a reason. If they appear "innocent" in this life, it is because they were "guilty" in a past life and "got away with it". The "innocent" feel "cheated" now because they cannot see the cause of this life was the effect of a past life when they were "guilty".

п»їThere is a difference between pressure and stress. One causes the other, and one we can reduce and shunt off. Learn the difference between these two in your life and what you can do about them.
Stress is the product of pressure. Set an empty plastic water bottle upright and place the palm of your hand on the cap. Apply pressure by pressing down. The pressure is applied to the top of the bottle, but the stress will reveal itself at the weakest point in the bottle. Usually, this is halfway down the bottle at the narrow part. But it serves to demonstrate the difference between pressure and stress.
The pressures of life are unavoidable. They are part and parcel of everything we do. We face pressures from relationships, society, the work force, and the government. Each of these pressures then produces stress in our lives.
As pressure mounts, so does stress. It produces friction. It grinds us down. It saps strength and energy. It always attacks you where you are the weakest.
A person can handle pressure if they can do three things:
1. Have a reason and cause for being under the pressure
2. Finding a way to bleed off and relieve stress
3. Strengthen their weak areas
Nervous breakdowns result from someone who either can't relieve stress, or who can't find a cause or reason to be under the pressure. The stress builds up where they are weakest and then destroys them. Someone who can't handle the stresses in life will eventually try to run. Someone who can't handle the pressures in life can suddenly snap.
I pastor a Church. As such, there is pressure on me from many different directions. I have to worry about things that no one else in the Church does. If something goes wrong, I get the call. If something bad happens, I get blamed. That's part of the pressure. This pressure causes stress. Sometimes that stress is evident in relationships, in mounting frustration or exasperation, and can play havoc with my health. Wherever I am the weakest, the stress appears.
Stress will always appear first in the weakest areas of your life. If your relationships are weak, then the pressures of life will begin to build stress there first. That is the nature of the beast. If you have a quick temper, then pressure will produce stress on there and you are much more apt to get angry.
The pressure is something I accept gladly. I believe that God made me and called me to this very thing. It is my purpose, my cause, and my life. The pressures of the ministry are not odious or distasteful to me. I accept them and bear them gladly. That is the best way to deal with the pressures. The stress, however, can grind me into dust, if I let it. I need effective means to bleed off much of the stress that the pressure produces in my life. And I must strengthen those areas in my life that are the weakest. If I can't do that, the stress can become overwhelming and I'll start having thoughts of quitting and running.
The same is true for you. You need to have a reason to be under the pressures of life. Then, you need means and methods of bleeding off and reducing the stress that the pressure produces. Remember, the stress always appears first in your most vulnerable and weakest areas.
